149. Fairy Dust on my Third Eye

fabric wings, Tel Aviv
At a jazz festival I found this fairy dancing and blowing bubbles beside the stage.
This heart was high on life and spreading joy at the festival.
In appreciation for giving her heart a voice in Levavot, this fairy took a heart sticker from her basket and placed it on my third eye.
This fairy's heart cares about helping children and nourishing their creative spirits. Check out this article for some inspiration http://www.artdaily.com/index.asp?int_new=31517&int_sec=2

147. Schnitzel

Schnitzel, Ramat Gan
Sari is one of the more down to earth people I have come across. Her smile and her name are equally beautiful in my opinion, and I am not quite sure why so much time has passed since I last saw her.
The other day Sari sent me this schnitzel, and it makes me think perhaps we should meet up for dinner.
This heart looks delicious - I just couldn't keep it all to myself any longer - beteavon (Hebrew for bon appetit)!

145. Rock-a-Bye-Baby

cotton blanket, Tel Aviv
Ziva and I have one of those uniquely special freindships where we can go for stretches of time without seeing one another, yet when we meet up we immediately pick up where we left off.
Today, just as we began to play catch up on the past few months I spotted this baby blanket hanging on a bush.
Just like in our friendship, I am sure that the original owner of this blanket would be thrilled to reunite with this heart.

144. The Style of Love

hair, Tel Aviv
Robert is my hairdresser, and the proud father of this beautiful heart. He and Alon are actually fathers of twins, but Dana was so active it was impossible to get them both in one picture.
This young heart, only a year and ten months old has one remarkable story to tell: Dana and her
twin brother Itay are the first of three things:
1. The first children from a surrogate to a gay couple in Bombay
2. The first children from a surrogate in Bombay to a gay couple in Israel
3. The first children in the world to only have their father's name appear on the birth certificate.
Like hair which can be styled and re-styled, and will never disintegrate; this heart was created to bring bundles of love, and will forever change our world.
Robert's heart would love for others to contribute to Mishelet Lev (Make-A-Wish Foundation of Israel), which helps grants wishes to children suffering from life threatening illnesses http://www.makeawish.org.il/index_en.asp

142. Sarona Garden

stone path, Sarona Garden, Tel Aviv
Today my very solid and good friend Eyal took me to see a part of Tel Aviv I have passed many times, but never before explored - Sarona Garden.
This unique and charming section at the entrance of Tel Aviv dates back to 1871, and was originally a German Templers colony, which operated as an agricultural settlement. In the 1930's many Templers affiliated themselves with the Nazi party, and so began the beginning of the end of Sarona. In 1948 Sarona was taken over by the Israeli government and was renamed Hakirya. In 2008 Kaplan street was widened and 18 of the distinct architectural buildings were moved to be preserved and restored in what is today called Sarona Garden.
Today, as I walked on this heart filled path, I fell deeper in love with Tel Aviv.
Thank you Eyal for showing me this quaint part of Tel Aviv.

paper and pencil, Tel Aviv
This morning I went into a printing shop and as I sat at the computer seven and a half year old Inbar handed me this heart which reads "I am smart".
Inbar is the the daughter of the owner, and had set up a printing shop of her own. Using a stool as her working table she was cutting post-its into heart shapes, and then added personal messages on each. These hearts were lovingly being distributed to every customer.
Inbar is spreading love - I love that!

Ofra is a mother, art therapist, occupational therapist and supervisor to case managers. She juggles her many positions with such finesse, and is one of the more organized and efficient people I have come across.
The hearts on this hairband are captured on Ofra's wrist as she wears them on her head when practicing art therapy. These dynamic hearts seem to love being carried from one place to the next.
